Tecom group is based in Dubai Academic City and is dedicated to constructing thriving, sustainable ecosystems for residents in the communities to coexist in. In order to meet the needs of the business and its partners and to future-proof the organization, the group needed a wide range of custom fitness equipment to be implemented across the community. Bluestream designed and manufactured sustainable play equipment and outdoor fitness equipment for Tecom. The emphasis was on a special design with vibrant colors that were especially chosen for them. Bluestream designed and custom made all the street furniture to serve the target of the project. Innovative theme based structures that fuel imaginations are Bluestream specialty. Adult outdoor fitness is the other segment for the outdoor play areas, which is catered to all age groups. The products designed for the Tecom Group were as follows: Pendulum Swings, Timber Play Systems, Matrix Agility System, Surfer, Triple Pull Ups, Space Walker, and the Sit Up Bench.
The steel play equipment and outdoor fitness equipment surfaces are manufactured with the environment in mind. Barrier coatings are in place to protect the system from oxygen and water. The use of steel for the above products is an ideal choice of material for this region, as it doesn’t fester termites and other bugs that could live on the surfaces making it an annoyance to community members. The framing parts for the play area and fitness equipment are mechanically joined and dimensionally straight hence they have a resistance to moisture and leaks, which makes the material durable with a guaranteed warranty of up to 10 years.
