One organization we recently worked with is the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai. A range of Bluestream’s suitable street furniture for multiple applications is used in two separate common areas outside the RTA’s head office.
Since this is the RTA, both the aesthetics and functionality of outdoor public seating and other furniture have been considered. The institution is responsible for turning the rest of Dubai into the beautiful urban haven that is now. The same consideration has been applied in beautifying the RTA’s outdoor spaces.
Understanding the need for employees’ emotional wellbeing, building team spirit, and improving communication, the RTA offers them these resting spaces to sit and relax outside the office; and also to serve as smoking areas.
The areas are furnished with commercial outdoor planters and waste bins to ensure the site is a clean and pleasing sanctuary to the employees. The outdoor areas are designed to appear like two urban islands set amid the city’s lavish infrastructure to match the surrounding colour themes.
Strong and sturdy products that can withstand the area’s temperature and the air’s moisture content have been chosen to adorn the landscape and make the small areas feel expansive. Bluestream has elected to use granite benches to ensure cool surfaces for the employees throughout the day. And these commercial outdoor planters and bins are made with sturdy Iroko and Meranti wood that come with extensive warranties.
